Rainbow Blocks is a fun and challenging sliding block puzzle game for iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and Mac. It has multiple difficulty levels and is suitable for all ages.
The object of the game is to clear the board by removing groups of blocks of the same color.

Do not buy if you do not have a lot of free time
This game is incredibly addictive. I’ve been playing it every day for monhts. Definitely worth the money I paid for it, if not more. It’s almost theraputic. Anyway, me gusta.

How do I win? No matter how many points I get it always says I lost!
You cannot “win” at Rainbow Blocks, the levels just keep getting harder until you lose. The aim is to get the highest score you can before that happens.
How does the scoring work?
Each level has a points target that you must reach to progress to the next level. The targets increase exponentially for each level so it’s important to score as many points as possible early on. You can score more points by clearing big groups of blocks in a single move, but the most critical thing is to clear as much of the level as possible because you get a big points bonus for getting close to 100%.
What do the spinning blocks do?
The spinning blocks (aka rainbow blocks) randomise the surrounding coloured blocks if you tap them. They can sometimes get you out of a jam if you have no more moves.
I’ve filled up the scoreboard and now I can’t get a high score – can I clear it?
Yes. If you go into the iPhone Settings panel (not the settings within Rainbow Blocks) and scroll down to the Rainbow Blocks panel, toggle the Clear Scores button to On and then open Rainbow Blocks again. You will then be prompted to wipe the scores.
How can I avoid hitting the wrong block on the iPhone? The blocks are too small!
If you press the wrong block by accident, you can undo your last move using the pause button in the top-left. Depending on the difficulty level there is a limit to the number of undos per level (to prevent cheating).
I like the look of Rainbow Blocks, but I’m not sure I want to pay for it. Can I try it for free?
Yes, you can find free “Lite” versions in both the iPhone App Store and Mac App Store that let you try the game before buying it, or you can get the “Free” version, which has ads.
I don’t have an iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad or Mac. Can I play on my Windows or Android device?
No, Rainbow Blocks is only available for Apple devices.
